SANTA RITA WINE

Visiting one of the oldest vineyards in the country constitutes a fascinating journey through the cultural heritage of Chilean wine, just 45 minutes from Santiago. Located in a unique natural environment, the foothills of Alto Jahuel.

The tour begins in the vineyards, where a variety garden will allow you to discover the various strains from which they are produced. It will witness the complete process of winemaking, passing through the wine cellars, the cellar and the bottling plant. You will also visit the old cellars, which were built in 1880 by French architects. Made of lime and song, today they are a National Monument, since it is said that 120 patriotic soldiers took refuge there, killed after a long and hard battle for the Independence of Chile. Hence the name of one of its most emblematic wines. Finally, the tour ends with a wonderful reserve wine tasting.
